Terms of Service

Effective from 2026-11-01. By creating an account or using MekoWeb (the “Service”), you agree to the terms below.

1. The Service

The Service enables you to create business showcase websites from pre-designed templates, hosted at addresses such as your-name.mekosite.com or, on the Pro plan, on a custom domain you own. The Service is intended for business landing pages and customer lead capture (contact inquiry forms); it does not provide shopping carts, online ordering, or payment processing. The Service is operated by MekoWeb Studio (“we”, “us”).

2. Accounts

• You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure.
• You must have full legal capacity under applicable law, or be duly authorized by the organization you represent.
• Each Free plan account may create a limited number of websites, as shown in the studio dashboard.
• Accounts may be closed and data permanently deleted upon expiration or prolonged inactivity under Section 7.

3. Your Content

• You retain all rights to the text, logos, and images you upload, and grant us a license to store, process, and display them solely to operate your website.
• You represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to use all uploaded content, including trademarks and images.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information on your website, including any regulatory filings or disclosures applicable to your business.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

• Engage in fraud, impersonate any organization or individual, or phish for passwords or payment credentials;
• Publish content that violates applicable law, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Distribute malware, send spam, or overload, scan, or attack the platform infrastructure;
• Offer goods or services that are prohibited by law or lack required licenses.

When we detect or receive a report of a violation, we may suspend or remove the website immediately without prior notice, and cooperate with competent authorities when required.

5. Custom Domains

• Connecting a custom domain is a Pro plan feature. Free accounts use addresses in the form your-name.mekosite.com.
• When a Pro plan expires, any connected custom domain is blocked: visitors to that custom domain will see a temporary suspension notice with a link to the website’s mekosite.com address; contact form submissions via the custom domain are also paused. We retain your domain configuration so that when you renew Pro, your custom domain resumes working immediately without reconfiguration. Your website continues running on mekosite.com subject to Section 7. You may remove your custom domain at any time.
• You must own or be authorized to use any domain connected to the Service, and you are responsible for paying domain registration and renewal fees to your registrar.
• Your website only serves traffic on a custom domain while your Pro plan is active and DNS records are configured as instructed. SSL certificates are provisioned automatically.
• When you remove a domain or stop using the Service, your website will cease serving on that domain.

6. Plans, Credits & Billing

• Free Plan: free of charge; allows creating a limited number of websites using free templates, and includes an initial balance of AI credits upon registration (currently 300 credits).
• Pro Plan: paid subscription by term (1 month, 1 year, 5 years, or other durations published on the Plans & Credits page; longer terms may offer discounted pricing). The Pro plan unlocks Pro Templates, custom domain connection, and bonus credits upon purchase or renewal as published. Renewing while active extends your current expiration date; renewing after expiration starts from the activation date.
• Credits: used for AI copywriting, customization, logo, and image features; each action deducts the published credit cost and is automatically refunded if the AI request fails. Purchasing top-up credits is a standalone transaction and does not extend or activate the Pro plan. Credits have no separate expiration date, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are forfeited if the account is closed under Section 7.
• Payment Method: payments are standardized in USD and made via PayPal (Smart Buttons or paypal.me/truyenminhtoan), VietQR bank transfer, or MoMo for the exact amount of the selected package, including the system-generated order code in the transfer note. Orders are verified and activated manually, which may take some time. Payments missing the order code or with an incorrect amount may not be processed automatically; please contact hotro@mekoweb.com with your transaction details. Payment gateway fees and exchange rates apply under the respective provider’s terms.
• Pricing: published on the Plans & Credits page. Price changes apply only to new orders placed after the change; existing pending orders keep the price at the time they were created.
• No refunds: all payments for Pro plans and credits are final and non-refundable, even if you do not use the full subscription term or credit balance, except where required by law. Please review your selection carefully before paying.
• Invoices: because the Service is currently in beta and operated by an independent operator, no tax invoices are issued for transactions.

7. Pro Plan Expiration, Data Retention & Deletion

• When your Pro plan expires, your account reverts to the Free plan. Websites using a Pro Template will stop displaying (visitors see a temporary suspension page), typically within minutes after expiration. We do not automatically switch your template or alter your content. Websites using free templates continue operating normally.
• You can restore a suspended Pro Template website at any time by renewing the Pro plan, or by switching the website to a free template in your dashboard. Your content is preserved during the retention window below.
• If you do not renew within 1 year (365 days) from the Pro expiration date, websites using a Pro Template will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, including all text, uploaded images, and visitor contact inquiries. Your account itself remains on the Free plan.
• Accounts without an active Pro plan that do not sign in for 1 year (365 days) (measured from the most recent sign-in or the Pro expiration date, whichever is later): all websites are permanently deleted and the account is closed, including any remaining credits. Accounts with an active Pro plan are never closed due to sign-in inactivity.
• We may display reminders in the studio dashboard or send email notifications before deletion, but we do not guarantee delivery; reminders are not a precondition for deletion. You are responsible for tracking your plan status and keeping backups of important content.
• Deletion means removal from the live production database and storage. Automated infrastructure backups (if any) may persist for up to 6 months before automatic expiration, and we do not restore individual user data from system backups upon request.

8. Availability & Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided “as is”. We strive to maintain high availability on Cloudflare’s edge network but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
• You should maintain your own copies of important text and media assets.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages such as lost revenue or lost business arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete any website at any time in the studio dashboard. To delete your entire account, send a request to hotro@mekoweb.com. Accounts are also closed automatically under the conditions in Section 7. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms; in such cases, unused Pro time or credits are not refunded except where required by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in the studio dashboard at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, it shall be submitted to the competent courts.
